International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) e IGTM Discovery, organizados por RX, han confirmado a Turquía como destino anfitrión de la 30ª edición

IGTM and IGTM Discovery 2027 will take place from October 18 to 21, 2027, at the NEST Congress and Exhibition Centre in Belek.

International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) and IGTM Discovery, organised by RX, have confirmed Türkiye as the host destination for the show’s 30th edition in 2027.

October 21, 2026 – The news comes as this year’s IGTM and IGTM Discovery get underway at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, where the global golf tourism industry and the wider golf business have gathered for four days of business meetings, networking and industry insight.

IGTM and IGTM Discovery 2027 will take place from 18 – 21 October 2027 at NEST Congress and Exhibition Centre in Belek, Antalya marking a milestone 30th edition for the show.

Fiona Ashton, Event Manager, IGTM and IGTM Discovery, said: “We’re delighted to announce Türkiye as the host destination for our 30th edition. Türkiye is one of the great success stories in golf tourism, combining world-class courses with exceptional hospitality, and there’s no better place to celebrate this milestone for IGTM and IGTM Discovery with the global golf travel community next October.”

Sinan Seha Türkseven, General Manager of the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), commented: “Türkiye has established itself as a leading golf tourism destination, combining world-class golf facilities with exceptional hospitality, rich cultural heritage and diverse travel experiences. Hosting the 30th edition of IGTM and IGTM Discovery in 2027 is both a privilege and an important opportunity to further strengthen Türkiye’s position in the international golf tourism market. We look forward to welcoming the global golf travel industry and showcasing the unique experiences Türkiye has to offer, both on and beyond the golf course.”

Öner Uygun, Managing Director, Millenium Golf, who is working closely with IGTM and IGTM Discovery on the 2027 event, said: “Hosting the 30th edition of IGTM and IGTM Discovery is a proud moment for Türkiye and for everyone who has helped build our golf industry. Next October is our chance to show buyers and media the very best of Turkish golf and hospitality, and we can’t wait to welcome them.”

In Cannes, this year’s show opened on Monday with the Golf Day at Le Riou at Terre Blanche, Golf d’Opio-Valbonne and Golf de la Grande Bastide, followed by the official welcome reception. Pre-scheduled appointments began yesterday, bringing together exhibitors and buyers from 59 countries, with nearly 40 meetings per buyer during the week. 35% of this year’s buyers are attending for the first time.

Returning buyer, Marcus Ekeberg, Greenfee365 commented: “IGTM has been the most important event for Greenfee365 since we started in 2018, and we’ve been there every year since. It’s where the golf travel industry actually sits down together: the right buyers, the right courses and the right conversations, all under one roof. Nothing else comes close for building real partnerships in golf.”

Caroline Blixt, Founder, UnPar & Blixt Media said “What makes IGTM stand out is the quality of the people you meet and the doors it opens. I strongly believe that while digital communication makes it easier than ever to connect, the best and most long-lasting partnerships are still built through meeting in person, sharing ideas and discovering what you can create together. IGTM provides an excellent environment for exactly that.”

First-time exhibitors this year include Golf Saudi, Cyprus, the Dominican Republic, Kenya’s, the Japan Golf Tourism Association and VisitAberdeenshire.

Alongside the newcomers, established golf destinations are back in Cannes, including Morocco, Spain and Portugal.

Mr. Achraf Fayda, CEO of Moroccan National Tourism Association said: “IGTM is a key moment in our golf tourism calendar, bringing us together with the professionals who turn destination interest into business. With world-class courses, year-round sunshine and rich culture, Morocco has a great deal to offer golf travellers. IGTM is the ideal opportunity to showcase Morocco as a year-round golf destination and connect with both established and new international buyers.”

Exhibitors are also using the show to share news with the trade. Dromoland Castle in County Clare is preparing for a €55 million transformation, the largest in its history as a hotel, ahead of reopening in July 2027; Cyprus’s Minthis Resort is investing €3 million in its championship course; and Victoria Golf Resort & Spa, Managed by Accor, in Vilamoura, will become the first Fairmont property in Portugal in 2027.

This year also marks the launch of IGTM Discovery, the show’s official expansion into the wider golf industry, connecting golf clubs, resorts, facilities and retailers across technology, equipment, apparel, accessories and club operations.

Bart Fokke, Sales at Pitchfix said: “We came to IGTM to meet venues and business interested in promoting elite golf experiences. We used the event to launch a new range of premium golf gifts aimed at creating memorable golf experiences and valuable branded promotional assets. The response so far has been amazing – so many contacts looking to enhance their visitor experience with unique, personalized golf gifts. We’ve met a fantastic calibre of people who genuinely share our vision for elite experiences.”

IGTM Discovery is also home to the show’s first dedicated conference programme, with more than 30 sessions across three days. Mark Skinner, Head of Business and Management at The PGA, opened the programme with a keynote on the future of professional development, with sessions to follow over the coming days on sustainability and agronomy, women’s golf, working with golf tour operators, golf travel trends and new revenue streams for clubs.

Fiona Ashton added: “2026 is a new chapter for the show, with IGTM Discovery and our conference programme bringing golf tourism and the wider golf business together for the first time. We’re looking forward to three busy days in Cannes, and to building on everything this week delivers as we head to Türkiye for our 30th edition.”
