DP World Tour – Grant Forrest’s winning golf bag at the Spanish Open, with Titleist and FootJoy

Grant Forrest paired a newly added Titleist driver with a trusted, classic Scotty Cameron putter —excelling at both ends of his equipment setup— to claim victory at the 2026 Spanish Open in Madrid.

October 13, 2026 – Scottish golfer Grant Forrest pulled off a major surprise at the Real Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, winning the 2026 Spanish Open in a dramatic finish. He achieved this victory while playing with Titleist and FootJoy equipment.

A key equipment update was the addition of a new Titleist GTS4 driver to his bag during the Turkish Airlines Open last April. He used it to great effect at the Madrid venue, gaining 0.85 strokes on the rest of the field and ranking 13th in the Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee statistic.

At the other end of the bag, Forrest has traditionally used a blade putter. Although he experimented with a mallet—the Titleist Scotty Cameron Tour Only 3.5—early in the season, that switch lasted only two tournaments.

He has since returned to using a blade to get his Titleist Pro V1 ball into the hole; in Madrid, he played with his Titleist Scotty Cameron Newport 009 M. This putter allowed him to gain 1.49 strokes on the field on the greens, placing him ninth in the Strokes Gained: Putting statistics.

The 33-year-old has carried Titleist 620 MB irons (6-9) in his bag since the 2021 Austrian Open, rounding out his iron set with Titleist 620 CBs (3-5), which he has used since the Turkish Airlines Open. Along with TaylorMade fairway woods —the only clubs in his bag not from his main sponsor— he has added Titleist Vokey SM11 and WedgeWorks (WW) wedges to his short game setup.

Furthermore, the Scotsman has put his full trust in FootJoy for his apparel, wearing their seasonal technical clothing, as well as the StaSof glove and Premiere Series shoes, as he pursues the title.
