The historic agreement brings together Scotland\u2019s most loved golf brands with a combined 230 years of golfing heritage between them.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_1755225110439373667Body\">Effective from 1<sup>st<\/sup> January 2020, <strong>Glenmuir<\/strong> will own the global rights and distribution for the Sunderland of Scotland brand outside of Asia. The agreement follows on from a successful 10 year partnership where Glenmuir were the European distributor for the Sunderland brand.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_1755225110439373667Body\">Both brands, in addition to the <strong>MacWet<\/strong> golf rain glove brand, will continue to be designed, marketed, embroidered, finished and distributed from Glenmuir\u2019s Lanark headquarters in the heart of Scotland with no changes to employment planned. The company will continue to launch separate Glenmuir and Sunderland of Scotland brand collections for <strong>Spring\/Summer<\/strong> and <strong>Autumn\/Winter<\/strong> in addition to capsule collections such as the recent <strong>1891 Heritage Collection <\/strong>and<strong> Saltire Collections<\/strong>. The brands have seen tremendous growth in the last two years and are now distributed in over 30 countries globally with the latest market to launch both brands being Canada.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"m_1755225110439373667Body\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Warren Sunderland <\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u2013 the son of<\/span><b><span lang=\"EN-US\"> Toby Sunderland <\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">who started the brand in Glasgow in 1911\u2013<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0adds: <em>\u201cWe are delighted that the brand will retain its Scottish roots and heritage and is in safe hands with such a well-respected brand like Glenmuir.\u201d<\/em><u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_1755225110439373667Body\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Mikhel Ruia <\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u2013<\/span><b> <\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Managing Director, Glenmuir and Sunderland of Scotland<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> \u2013 adds: <\/span><em>\u201cBoth brands are a natural fit, with their respective Scottish heritage, shared brand values and focus on crafting premium quality durable products.
