TaylorMade research indicates the SLDR fairway to be the longest adjustable fairway wood in company history.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe have heard from all types of golfers ranging from weekend players to Tour pros that SLDR is the longest TaylorMade driver they have hit,\u201d<\/em> said <strong>Tom Olsavsky<\/strong>, TaylorMade\u2019s Senior Director of Product Creation for Metalwoods.\u00a0<em>\u201cThis eye-opening distance gain is a result of the low and forward CG placement<em>\u201d<\/em>.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tour professionals wasted no time putting SLDR fairway woods in play. It debuted at the <strong>Tour Championship<\/strong> at East Lake where TaylorMade Tour staff professionals <strong>Justin Rose <\/strong>and<strong> D.A. Points<\/strong> both put an SLDR fairway wood in their bags. At the <strong>Frys.com Open<\/strong>, the SLDR fairway wood again saw action as nine players carried the club that week, including the tournament winner.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-A7ByPkrnM0?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The other performance attribute in the new SLDR fairway and Rescue clubs is an <strong>improved Speed Pocket<\/strong>. As seen in the RocketBallz metalwood and in the RocketBladez irons, the Speed Pocket increases face flexibility to promote faster ball speed. Unlike the previous RocketBallz metalwood line-up, which had an open slot on the bottom of the clubhead, the SLDR has a more efficient Speed Pocket design featuring a polymer fill to keep grass and debris out of the pocket.<\/p>\n<p>The improved, smaller Speed Pocket of SLDR fairways and Rescues also allowed TaylorMade engineers to move the clubhead\u2019s CG lower and further forward, resulting in faster ball speed, a higher launch angle and a lower spin-rate. The new Speed Pocket also allows the clubface to promote fast ball speed across a larger portion of the face to promote consistently long distance, swing after swing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Awe-Inspiring Aesthetics\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SLDR fairways and Rescues incorporate the same rich, charcoal-gray crown and traditional shaping as the SLDR driver. The dark crown-colour contrasts agreeably with the silver-coloured clubface to make it easy to align the face accurately at address. They also have a shallow face that delivers a clean and confidence-inspiring look at address.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TaylorMade\u2019s Loft-Sleeve Technology\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Available in both the SLDR fairways and Rescue clubs, TaylorMade\u2019s Loft-Sleeve technology allows golfers to adjust the loft 1.5\u00b0 up or down to dial in their optimal launch conditions. In the past, better players have been reluctant to play higher lofted metalwoods because of an increased spin rate. However, the new low-forward CG location dramatically reduces spin and results in greater distances with higher lofted clubs.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mygolfway.com\/taylormade-golf-lanzamiento-de-las-maderas-de-calle-y-recues-sldr\/tm-sldr-fw\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-10684\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Madera de calle SLDR de TaylorMade Golf\" src=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2013\/10\/TM-SLDR-FW.jpg\" alt=\"Madera de calle SLDR de TaylorMade Golf\" width=\"640\" height=\"271\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mygolfway.com\/taylormade-golf-lanzamiento-de-las-maderas-de-calle-y-recues-sldr\/tm-sldr-rescue\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-10685\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Rescue SLDR de TaylorMade Golf\" src=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2013\/10\/TM-SLDR-Rescue.jpg\" alt=\"Rescue SLDR de TaylorMade Golf\" width=\"640\" height=\"271\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Shaft, Pricing &amp; Availability\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SLDR fairway woods are equipped with the Fujikura Speeder 77 graphite shaft.\u00a0Five models\/lofts are available: Tour Spoon (14\u00b0), 3 (15\u00b0), 3HL (17\u00b0), 5 (19\u00b0) and 5HL (21\u00b0).\u00a0 The\u00a0fairway woods\u00a0have an <strong>RRP<\/strong> of 249\u20ac. An upgraded TP shaft, the Fujikura Motore Speeder TS 8.3, is also available at an <strong>RRP<\/strong> 299\u20ac.<\/p>\n<p>The stock SLDR Rescue shaft is the Fujikura Speeder 82, available in five models\/lofts: 2 (17\u00b0), 3 (19\u00b0), 4 (21\u00b0) and 5 (24\u00b0).
