Canter, who is on a steep upward career curve, will also play a key role in advising and mentoring recent young Mizuno signings, including <strong>Joe Long<\/strong> and <strong>OJ Farrel<\/strong>l, as they follow closely in his pathway.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Team-Mizuno-Canter-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-122801\" src=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Team-Mizuno-Canter-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Team-Mizuno-Canter-4.jpg 640w, https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Team-Mizuno-Canter-4-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Team-Mizuno-Canter-4-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Canter, ranked 24th on the final standings of the 2021 Race to Dubai, has had Mizuno irons in the bag for several months. Canter originally planned to operate as a free agent but, after speculatively testing Mizuno&#8217;s newest drivers, decided to trust his equipment to the manufacturer entering the most critical phase of his career.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Team-Mizuno-Canter-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-122803\" src=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Team-Mizuno-Canter-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Team-Mizuno-Canter-2.jpg 640w, https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Team-Mizuno-Canter-2-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cI played Mizuno irons for a number of seasons previously \u2013 but never really considered them for metal-woods.\u00a0 I hit the Mizuno driver and fairways to be open minded and was really surprised how much they\u2019d moved on in the last few years.\u00a0 The driver is as fast as anything I\u2019ve tested, but really stable with it.\u00a0 I know that the next few years are crucial if I want to meet all the goals I\u2019ve set myself \u2013 I\u2019ve surprised myself going with Mizuno through the bag.\u00a0 But feel really good about it,\u201d\u00a0<\/i>said <strong>Laurie Canter<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Alex Thorne<\/strong>, Tour Operations Manager for Mizuno believes that Laurie is the missing puzzle piece for Mizuno\u2019s tour strategy in Europe. \u00a0<em>\u201cWe&#8217;ve committed to changing the profile of our tour staff \u2013 to younger players and emerging talent, with the intent of ensuring Mizuno&#8217;s tour legacy into the future. But amongst all the really young players, we still wanted someone like Laurie entering their peak years. Laurie has just had his best two seasons on the European Tour, and we believe the very best is still to come. As of March 2022, 13 of the 24 players ever to be ranked world #1 had played Mizuno equipment during their careers.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Laurie Canter<\/strong> joins former world #1&#8217;s <strong>Luke Donald<\/strong> and <strong>Stacy Lewis<\/strong> on Team Mizuno along with PGA Tour stars <strong>Keith Mitchell<\/strong> and <strong>Greyson Sigg<\/strong> plus other emerging younger talents \u2013 including <strong>Joe Long, OJ Farrell, Olivia Cowan <\/strong>and<strong>Stephen Fisk<\/strong>.
