January 19, 2022 – FootJoy, the #1 Shoe in Golf, continues its pursuit of game-changing performance in its athletic offering following the introduction of the all-new FUEL.

Igniting FootJoy’s latest footwear range with bursts of colour and dynamic design, FUEL amplifies performance within the athletic category, leveraging the brand’s expertise in golf-specific innovation and a single-minded focus on the golfer to deliver Tour-proven performance with style.

""

The shoe targets modern golfers seeking a sharp, athletic silhouette, by combining streamlined, waterproof, synthetic uppers with sculptured design elements, including a mid-foot bevel and an exaggerated platform.

Below the silhouette, a combination of the sole – inspired by a Pro|SL Outsole – patented mid- foot stability bridge, and Stratolite EVA midsole, revolutionises athletic performance with Tour- proven traction and stability through the swing.

The latest introduction to the FJ footwear line will be available in men’s, women’s and junior’s ranges and builds on the global success of the HyperFlex in the athletic space as the brand continues to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving market with a new energy for all golfers.

""

Max Homa and Will Zalatoris are the first flag bearers of the FUEL at the PGA Tour.

“FUEL embodies the FJ brand taking a step forward in providing technical and innovative driven footwear. Undoubtedly the shoe takes the athletic offering to a new level, where we have been able to leverage our expertise in golf driven performance from our market-leading range and bring these technologies into the category to amplify what was previously possible – none more so than the Pro|SL-inspired outsole”, says Guy Smith, Product Manager for FJ Footwear EMEA.

“The feedback from tour players has been overwhelming positive with many taken aback at just how light the shoe is. Whether a shoe for use in tournament play, practice rounds or even travelling to and from the course – it has the style, comfort and versatility that many of the world’s best players are looking for”.

“It’s an incredible shoe and to be able to diversify the offering across men’s, women’s and juniors’ is hugely exciting. We look forward to seeing a range of golfers stepping up to the tee in the all-new FUEL this year.”
