November 2, 2026 – The Japanese player Miyu Yamashita established herself at the top of the leaderboard early in the week, opening with rounds of 65, 66 and 67 to enter Sunday’s final round with a two-shot advantage. Maintaining her composure under pressure, she carded five birdies in her final round, including a crucial birdie at the 18th to secure the victory.

Miyu Yamashita relies on Cleveland Golf wedges to master her short game.
The win is Yamashita’s fifth career LPGA Tour title and third victory of the 2026 season, adding to an already impressive year that includes wins at the Meijer LPGA Classic and CPKC Women’s Open. It also makes her the first player to win the Maybank Championship in consecutive years.
