Andrew Novak switches to the Srixon Z-STAR XV golf ball and wins the VidantaWorld Mexico Open by five strokes

Novak also made a change to his equipment ahead of the tournament.

Srixon’s Andrew Novak put together a week to remember at the VidantaWorld Mexico Open, earning a five-shot victory for his second PGA Tour win and first individual title.

November 2, 2026 – Coming into the week with three top-10 finishes already in 2026, Novak built on that momentum with an impressive performance. He never posted a round outside the 60s, carding a 67, 61, 62 and 69 to separate himself from the field and cruise to the win.

A big part of Novak’s success came from his iron play. He ranked second in Strokes Gained: Approach and first in Strokes Gained: Total, consistently giving himself scoring opportunities.

The player replaced the Srixon Z-STAR DIAMOND ball with the new Z-STAR XV.

Novak also made a change to his setup heading into the tournament, switching from the Srixon Z-STAR DIAMOND to the Z-STAR XV golf ball in search of a little less spin. The change paid off, as he paired the Z-STAR XV with his Srixon ZXi5 and ZXi7 combination iron set and Cleveland Golf RTZ 2 Wedges to secure his five-shot win.

What Srixon/Cleveland Golf equipment was in Andrew Novak’s winning bag?
