Galvin Green – Mireia Prat, new image of the brand after a great 2013 season

January 12, 2014 – Galvin Green is still keeping a watch on  Spanish golf, and now the prestigious Swedish brand of technical golf apparel has announced the addition of Mireia Prat as flag-bearer of the brand in Spain and in the Ladies European Tour in 2014.

“I’m very pleased that they trust in me, because few girls wear Galvin Green, and since I was a child I have always loved this brand”, is the first statement of the Barcelona player, just when the exclusive golf brand is about to launch its 2014 Spring Summer Collection.

Looking for new challenges in the Ladies European Tour 2014, Mireia Prat added: “I am delighted to be dressed by Galvin Green. It’s a great brand, and I think it is one of the best internationally in terms of technical golf apparel. I am a player who needs to feel comfortable when doing the swing, specially playing in difficult weather conditions.“

After dominating the Order of Merit of the LET Access Series, with two wins and nine places in the top-10, which gave her a direct place to play the Ladies European Tour this year, Mireia made a sparkling finish to the 2013 season by leading the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters, with a first round of 67 shots, showing that she is at the level of the best players.

“This year I would like to win a LET tournament and play my best game every time I compete,” adds Mireia Prat. “I start the season in Australia, in Sydney, for a tournament of the Australian Tour, followed by two LET events in New Zealand and Australia.” The ISPS Handa New Zealand Women’s Open and the Volvik RACV Australian Masters at Gold Coast early February will keep her “three weeks in the antipodes to start!” she says enthusianticaly.
